South Ogden City's Elected Officials
South Ogden City has six elected officials, a Mayor and five City Council Members. Your elected officials want to hear from you. Your input is the best way for them to get a feel for what citizens want for their City. There are several ways that you can voice your concerns.

Attend a City Council Meeting
Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month. Meetings start at 6:00 pm and are held at the City building at 3950 S. Adams Ave. Every council meeting includes a time set aside for public comments at the beginning of the meeting. You can address any issue before the council that you feel is important. Generally, the head of each department is in attendance in order to hear concerns regarding their area of responsibility.

Comment during a public hearing
For substantial issues the City holds public hearings. Public hearings are always advertised in the newspaper in the legal notice section. The hearings deal with specific issues for which the Council is soliciting your input before a decision is made.
