City Recorder

Welcome to the South Ogden City Recorder’s Office.  It is my goal to act as a liaison between the residents and elected officials and keep our citizens informed.

What the recorder does:

• Acts as the clerk for the city council and therefore prepares and distributes the agenda, gives notice of all meetings, and prepares minutes of meetings
• Posts all public notices
• Keeps and maintains all municipal records, including all ordinances and resolutions adopted; all requests for records should be made through the recorder. 
• Oversees municipal elections (odd numbered years).
• Oversees business licensing and processes business and beer license applications and renewals.
