Urban Forestry Commission
The goal of the Urban Forestry Commission is to establish policy, programs, and procedures that will secure a healthy and vigorous urban forest in the perpetuity for South Ogden City. South Ogden Urban Forestry Commission is responsible for the planting, pruning or removal of any tree or shrub located on the parking/planting strip within the City. The commission consists of seven members who are citizens of South Ogden and are appointed by the Mayor and City Council. They meet on the first Thursday of each month to discuss upcoming events, tree updates, tree inventory, etc. The members consist of Ken Paur, James Pearce, Evelyn Bertilson, Kelly Koger, James Carley and Benjoe Markland.
