In accordance with the City's ordinance #902 if you have an alarm at your home and/or one at your business it must be registered with the Police Department. There is a one time registration fee of $50.00.
There are however additional charges if there are numerous false alarms. Those fees are as follows:
Third False Alarm Fine : $50.00
Fourth False Alarm Fine : $100.00
Fifth False Alarm Fine : $100.00 and a new registration fee of $50.00
Once a reinstatement fee has been paid, the alarm fine cycle begins at the third false alarm following the reinstatement. The false alarm cycle goes from January to December.
